Questions

Questions people ask

Who is Huefield for?

Designers and design students who want quick colour ideas and an easy way to take the codes into their own tools.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the page and start generating. There is no sign-in.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Huefield is free.

What does the readable text check measure?

The WCAG contrast ratio of each colour against white and against black. A ratio of 4.5:1 or more passes AA for normal text.

Do locked colours go into the shared link?

No. The link holds only the five colours, so a shared palette opens unlocked.
